Year 2 Day 65 - Oxford, Md.

Today is Wednesday, May 30th and we have good news as well as bad news.  We were hauled out of the water yesterday for them to check the bow thruster.  Somehow they were able to fix it without ordering a new one.  The bad news is the seals on the transmission are leaking and the parts need to be ordered, etc.  They have other jobs pending so we have to wait and will most likely be here until next week.  Therefore, we've rented a car again and are driving back to Bethesda to leave more items in my car parked in our son-in-law's driveway.

We went back in the water this morning and are sitting tight until we can be on our way again.  We've done a lot of bike riding today and I've seen more wildlife here in one day than I've seen in quite awhile - snake, ducks, geese, large doe, rabbits, and a gorgeous red fox.

The sunsets here are spectacular and since I didn't get a shot today, I plan to get one tomorrow and post it then.
